Merry Yule!

Greetings everyone,

Merry Yule! I hope everyone’s month has been filled with much blessings. Yule is upon us today. Unfortunately, I have not had the time to celebrate except in spirit. I started my new job and I feel very blessed for that. In January I start college again. It’s amazing how the deities have blessed me for the new year. I am hoping that many blessings will come your way. Have a great holiday!

My Samhain

Greetings everyone,

I’m sorry I didn’t post yesterday. I was completely and utterly exhausted yesterday. I also had to take my father to an appointment today, so I totally forgot to update everyone while thinking of things I wanted to do yesterday. Anyway, yesterday I celebrated Samhain by doing a ritual. I took a bath first to purify myself. I then had to move things around on my altar a bit since my altar is on top of my bookcase. It was a short ritual, but I invited my ancestors to the circle and talked to those closest to me who have been gone. I also did a spell to break bad habits. Later on I did a tarot spread for the new year which is called The Wheel of the Year tarot spread. It took a while for me to sort through the cards. There were 27 to lay down. I still have to write my new year’s resolutions tonight, for I forgot to do that last night. Overall, I felt like my Samhain was a good celebration. During my ritual the candles kept flickering real hard and I think that it was a sign from my loved ones. I hope you all had a wonderful and Merry Samhain and Happy Halloween! Good night!

Samhain’s tomorrow!

Greetings everyone,

It’s hard to believe that October is almost gone. I have had such a busy month that I really haven’t had much time to prepare for Samhain. I did make a new altar arrangement. I’ll take a picture and post tomorrow. However, I will be doing a ritual and spell tomorrow. Also I will be divining and making my new year’s resolutions as I do for every year. I love Samhain because it’s a time of change and the veil is the thinnest. Tomorrow I will have a lot on my plate, but nonetheless I will be celebrating this wonderful Sabbat. What are your plans? I hope that everyone has a good night and I will update tomorrow.

Happy Mabon!

Hello everyone,

Well technically Fall began yesterday, but it can be celebrated today as well. So Happy Mabon to everyone out there! I’m glad that Mabon is here because it means we are getting closer to my favorite Sabbat (Samhain), and the temperature will start to drop and give us a break from the heat of the Summer. I don’t know about you all, but I am not a Summer girl. I know we need it though. So Mabon is a time of gratitude. I made a small list of things that I am grateful for that I thought I would share with you:

  1. My family, especially my parents who deal with me day in and out.
  2. My health. I am officially going to be able to drive on Monday and it’s because I will be seizure-free for six months. Praise the deities.
  3. The deities, especially Lord Anubis and Lady Bast.
  4. My friends, who always are there for me.
  5. My religion, for without my religion I would be even crazier than I am now. πŸ™‚

I hope you all have had a wonderful Mabon and have a wonderful start into Fall. Talk soon!

Merry Lammas!

Merry Lammas everyone! Lammas is a Wiccan/Pagan holiday aka Sabbat celebrating the turning of the wheel where the corn is reaped along with the wheat. It is opposite from Imbolc on the wheel. So now Lammas is here we still are not officially into Fall, but it’s not long. I often think of Osiris as a deity for this holiday. I think he is a really good deity to celebrate with when celebrating Lammas because of the fact that he is associated with death. Although Lammas is not necessarily a death-type Sabbat, it is drawing closer to Samhain. But those are my opinions. πŸ™‚ Merry Lammas to you all!

Merry Summer Solstice!

Merry Summer Solstice (aka Litha or Midsummer)! Well, I can’t believe the Wheel of the Year has spun again. It’s the longest day of the year and I personally am happy that the Wheel is starting to spin towards the darker days of the year. As you can probably tell, I’m not a big fan of the lighter half of the year. However, we need it. I hope everyone has a great Summer Solstice! Blessings!

Merry Beltane!

Merry Beltane everyone! Goodness I didn’t know that Beltane was coming up so fast! Hopefully, Summer Solstice won’t be like this. I hope this day will be good for everyone, both Wiccan and non-Wiccan. Blessings to you all. Unlike everyone, I’m having health issues, but I am still celebrating. I love all of you and I send you all prayers of good health and wellness. Blessings again!
